Description

Grace Cottage is a beautifully furnished, sunny one-bedroom self-catering loft apartment built to a Swiss architectural style with red geraniums planted in window boxes below large dormer windows.  The open plan kitchen / lounge / study leads into a warmly decorated en-suite bedroom (two single beds) with ample BICs and wall to wall carpets.  The light, airy bathroom includes a shower and a slipper bath overlooking a spacious garden, with separate toilet.  Within a secure property and neighbourhood (patrolled 24 hours by “Bobbies on the Beat”), with alarm and armed response.

Rooms are serviced daily in the morning.  Top quality linen, luxurious towels and guest amenities are provided to ensure your comfort.  A laundry facility is available (at extra cost).  The kitchen is well equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, hot plate, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery.  Supplied with high quality hospitality items including fresh free-range eggs from our resident red hens, coffee from a local roastery, tea and rusks, etc.  Continental breakfasts can be supplied to your room the previous night at a cost of R50 pp.  Special dietary requirements can be catered for, just let us know before you arrive.

The cottage is equipped with a heater, electric blanket, fan and hairdryer on request .  Guests also have access to a large indigenous garden and our private swimming pool (children are to be parent-supervised and the pool is used at your own risk).

A cot, high chair and additional beds for children sharing with parents can be arranged.

Safe off-road parking is available behind the remote controlled gates, no garage.

We are an environmentally sustainable establishment, using biodegradable detergents and cleaning products, growing our own vegetables organically, recycling most of our waste and grey-water, composting all organic matter, living sustainably, consuming less and minimising our ecological footprint.

Rates

Rates from R250.00 per person sharing or R300 single supplement, per night.

Children on extra bed, R200.00 per night.

Continental breakfasts can be supplied to your room at a cost of R50 pp.

Payment is to be made by EFT, cash or cheque – we do not have credit card facilities.  Post-dated cheques are not accepted.  Our banking details will be supplied for EFT payments once confirmation has been received.
