Guides are available to accompany guests on exciting trails including walks to spot small game and abundant bird life and ancient remains of fossils dating back millions of years. DirectionsFrom Johannesburg - follow route through Ermelo to Pongola, take N2 south bound to Hluhluwe. From Durban - follow N2 north bound to Hluhluwe. Please note that we do not recommend that the last 64km’s be driven at night Travel through Hluhluwe, at the fourth traffic circle turn left. Travel for, 1 km turn right crossing over railway tracks, you are now at the Sodwana road. On the Sodwana road (R22), you will travel 38 kms, turn right at the second D675 road sign (First sign is at 29km, please pass this one).There is a brown tourism board indicating Va”Umlomo and Ezimpondweni Clinic. You are now on a dirt road (to Nibela +- 26km’s) Travel +- 4 km’s and you will see the Ezimpondweni trading store is on your right, road splits - keep to the left. Pass clinic on your left hand side. Mavuso high school board is on your left hand side. Tribal courthouse is on the left hand side. From here there are green signboards indicating direction to Nibela & Sobhengu at 22 km’s, 20 km’s, 15km’s, 10km’s, 6km’s, 4km’s and 2km’s.
