Seasonal home grown vegetables and fruit from Overwin's gardens are served daily. Unforgettable memories:
The area of Ubombo, in the Mkuze area, borders on the hypnotic. Part of its attraction can be found in the fabric of the spirit in the land around you. Ubombo overlooks the Zulu battlefield which took place in 1884. Following the Anglo-Zulu war in 1879, Dinuzulu and Zibhebhu, who were rivals for the crown of the deposted King Ceyshwyao, fought the battle of Tshaneni in 1884, leaving the slopes of the Ghost Mountain strewn with the bones of the fallen warriors. The indigenous landscape is so breathtaking that it is usually the lasting impression of all who visit here. Many come to find rest and respite to soothe the body and mind. Still others seek out Ubombo's many diverse attractions, whilst others enjoy a stop-over en route from Kruger and Swaziland travelling either south or north.
