DescriptionSunset Lodge is situated on the banks of the ST LUCIA ESTUARY, a WORLD HERITAGE SITE. St Lucia was declared by UNESCO protocol in 1999 and is South Africa’s first and largest natural World heritage Site. Sunset Lodge is situated on the main street in St Lucia, which is called McKenzie Street. We are walking distance to all shops, restaurants and amenities. Our luxurius log cabins have decks which you can sit and relax while you enjoy our famouse African sunsets as well as being able to veiw animals such as Hippo, red duiker and bush buck, which can often be seen on our front lawn. We have resident Lourie, yellow-billed kites and hornbills. ACCOMMODATAIONWe are luxury self-catering log cabins. Each chalet is fully equip, fully serviced and has a kitchen, lounge, bathroom, air-conditioning, TV 1,2, 3, e and m-net. You can sit on your own private patio, or soak up the sun and swim in our crystal clear swimming pool while watching the boats; hippos, crocs and listen to the cry of the fish eagle go by We have 1 five sleeper, 3 four sleepers and 3 two sleepers.
DirectionsFrom Johannesburg Get on the N2 highway then Witbank, Bethal, Emelo, Piet Retief, Pongola, Mtubatuba, St.Lucia. Turn left at the Mtuba turn off (road sign), turn left again at the next intersection. You will pass the town (on your right), you are now on the R618 to St.Lucia about 25 km further. Turn right at the traffic circle into McKenzie street and we are at number 154. From Durban Get on the N2 highway and pass Richard's Bay and Empangeni. Turn right at the Mtubatuba turn off (road sign), turn left at the T-junction, turn right at the 2nd intersection. You will pass the town (on your right), you are now on the R618 to St.Lucia about 25 km further. Turn right at the traffic circle into McKenzie street and we are at number 154. |
